Topic: The Good Shepherd: An Eighteenth Century Masonic System
Du Bon Pasteur (The Good Shepherd) is an obscure and esoteric order of Freemasonry that was practiced in Poland in the mid-1700’s. This twelve degree system combines elements of Gnosticism, alchemy, kabbalah, and chivalry in the same system. The presentation will discuss the degrees of the Bon Pasteur system and compare them to others practiced in Masonic systems then and now. Presenter: Companion S. Dirk Wiker S. Dirk Wiker has been a Mason since 2006 and is the Past Master of Annapolis Lodge No. 89 (2012). He is Past High Priest of Mt. Vernon Royal Arch Chapter No. 25 and the current Thrice Illustrious Master of Harmony Council No. 20 in Annapolis, MD. He is also the Wise Master of the Meredith Chapter of Rose Croix in the Valley of Baltimore, Orient of Maryland, Ancient & Accepted Scottish Rite, SJ. Other Masonic organizations include the Shrine, Allied Masonic Degrees, and the Red Cross of Constantine. Professionally, he is the Director of Security Engineering at the Social Security Administration in Baltimore, MD.
